To get back on track: new Version.

Mostly a bunch of minor changes. If anyone has more suggestions to make it better toss them out. (thinking about redoing the whole thing after seeing TB's pic.)

My attempt at some sort of depth/ shading. If it looks bad I can remove it.

it doesn't look bad! but, while the sky gets further up towards the zenith, it does not just look darker, it is also more blue than cyan. maybe if you change the colour of the darkening part a bit people will not assume that it is simply 'dark at the top'

Let the text breathe a little too. I think that font is great for the feel of the work. But its very tight and compact. Play with the kerning a bit.

What I did with my entry was make a separate layer, place different 'blocks' of three blues and an off-white/grey down on that layer, make sure that layer is behind everything you want to be in the foreground, and then blur the piss out of it. Not Gaussian Blur, if you have the option, but Fragment Blur and then Surface Blur OR an Unfocus blur.

Thanks for the tip there gloom, Ill try messing with the background, but my program is incapable of messing with the kerning sadly. I would need to try and move all the letters individually, which hasn't gone well in past experiences.

I use Paint.net. I only can do Gradients in twos. I could do it another way that is more time intensive, but I am lazy. Haha.

I like the texture on the hills in the background, but they seem to be the only part of the picture with any sort of texture like that as far as I can tell...? It looks a little odd. Either more things need cloth-ish textures or the hills don't need them, I think...?

I would like to apologize for taking so long on my end to actually finish Deeper Down. However, I am here to confirm that I am, in fact, doing it.

The reason it has been taking me so long is just due to general life problems, nagging by my mother and blah blah blah.

Regardless, I'll try to finish it before Friday, because that is the last day of school and the only time I have access to any form of Scanner. More likely than not though I will probably end up finishing it over the summer, which will be really stupid on my end.
