Split Mix Theories

This is simply a theory thread, about what different split mixes might result in, as in- what sort of traits the split mix would result in.

Like, for example, a Vision-Ardent split mix could be for a creative lover, one who's passionate.

Well, the Humors page on the wiki more or less has all the info we need to speculate. It shows that there are about 13 split mixes we have yet to discover. We know that two of the undiscovered Flow mixes are called Breeze and Serene, and that a third is bright pink and is included in trueBug's recipe.

Also, I think it's interesting that no split-mixes have been discovered with Ardent yet. After we use all the humors we're going to with that Blooper template, if we still have some of it left over, I'm thinking we mix it with something. Maybe Flow, to see if it's one of the three!

Ardent-Flow seems a little polar, however. The poultice of passion coupled with the elixir of easygoing. Maybe it's a humor for philosophers, for those minds who are passionate about the happiness one can find in complete bliss?

Hm. That does sound really good, though I think that "Ardent-Logos" would seem a bit more philosopher-related. Passion for thinking.

Yes, I can see that. I think Ardent-Flow would be more about passion for..."enlightenment", I guess. People who can make themselves happy in any environment and know it, people who have found "the secret to happiness." Possible positive traits could be adaptability and satsifaction, while negatives could be condescension and disdain for people who just can't relax.

Oooooh. That sounds right.

Ardent-Shine... That, though would be a love of life! Happiness in its entirely?

We can't forget the anger that often comes with Ardent. That has just as much to do with the personality as does the passion.

Like I said before, I'd be fine with spending my credits on some C/B Grade Humors to unlock more combos and such.

I could see Vision-Ardent being sort of the "enigmatic workingman's humor." Someone who finds passion in a pastime, be it artistic or otherwise. The carpenter who adds a personal flair to each of his buildings, or even the office worker who signs his official papers with scented crayon. The anger would be there too, with them being furious when the sanctity of their pastime is threatened.

How about Passionate with Creativity?
Like they have a single passion of the arts and such(any form) and if you make it wrong to them they become berserk?

I am not really sure where i am going with this.

Letting myself wonder about the unknown split mixes makes me all hesitant about finalizing any character recipes, heheh. ^.^; That annoying little voice niggling at me saying "but what if one of those ones is BETTER, hmmm?" loves to speak up then. But! Then I just remind myself that Jitterbug succeeds as a performer withOUT having Sublime in her recipe, and I can always try making new characters later when we discover more of the split-mixes, so it shuts up.

...Suddenly, I find myself wondering what Goombella's recipe would be. Also I wonder how weird things could get if it was possible to make an actual split mix with Turnabout... Maybe we'd discover Logan's mud-colored Humor, lol!

It was proven that mixing Turnabout with something would make a random split mix .

Mud Color was theorized way BEFORE Logan made fun of it.....

And turnabout with actual mixing with the humors would be funny.

Fun fact: I'm creating a character who is an ideal spy: sneaky, crafty, sly. What do guys think the idea Humor for her be? I'm thinking it's probably one we don't have yet.

Definitely a Logos split-mix. That much I know.

Maybe Logos-Mend, or Logos-Aegis.

There is in fact a Logos split-mix that would suit your needs quite perfectly.

Wait, if Truebug knows this, then they must have all split-mixes planned. In that case we can keep bothering them for information until they give up and tell us!

Would you please share it with us? It's for a non ECN related in the slightest adventure, and I have a whole heap of planning to do, cureently I'm still charting personalities.

Personally, I think you should be able to figure out the personality without it. The Humors can classify a personality but technically every personality is possible. Just do what you would do with any character and fill in the humors later.

Yeah, we're gonna be finding out all the humors the old fashioned way.

Yeah but using the Humor system is really helping me to chart them out. Like, add negative traits and all of that stuff.
